Circular Economy

Hotspot Scotland

30 Oct - 1 Nov 2018

Scotland has been selected as this year's host nation for Circular Economy Hotspot #CEHotspotScot—a major international event to showcase our nation's progressive approach to developing a circular economy and the best of our burgeoning circular businesses to a global audience.

Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, is the latest in our line-up of keynote speakers confirmed to address delegates.

Hosted by Zero Waste Scotland in Glasgow, the unmissable programme includes visits to pioneering Scottish businesses, sessions led by the foremost names in circular economy policy and innovation, and extensive networking opportunities.

Building on success of previous years

Following large-scale inaugural events in The Netherlands and Luxembourg, the Hotspot will demonstrate Scotland's award winning progress as a leading circular economy nation on the world stage. It follows global recognition at the World Economic Forum, where Scotland received the award for Circular Economy Nations and Regions in the high profile Circulars Awards in 2017.
